Welcome!
Welcome!

For many, therapy is a path people take to make lasting positive changes in life and in relationships. Although therapy is not always an easy process to begin; I assure you will be met with warmth, compassion, and support in a safe environment.

My approach focuses on integrating the mind, body, and spirit to foster healthy well-being. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy / Mindfulness techniques and somatic therapies to help my clients get to the root of their feeling "stuck". Life can throw unexpected curve balls sometimes. I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients to facilitate helping them find their path into living life fully again.

I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP); and have extensive training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP), Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST), as well as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. I utilize these approaches to work with all types of difficulties in life including trauma, transition, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, to name a few. Somatic therapies are holistic treatments that study the relationship between the mind and body in relationship to the past, present and future.

Trauma Treatment: Past trauma can make one feel like they are experiencing emotions and sensations from the past which can interrupt normal life function. Past traumas are reflected in our body language, posture, and expression. Through working with the mind and body in a mindful somatic approach; this can help your nervous system return to homeostasis. My clients have found this approach to be gentle, effective and efficient.
